The state government can also remove the chairperson or any member if:
- Adjudged as insolvent.
- Engages in any paid employment outside official duties.
- Refuses to act or becomes incapable of acting.
- Declared of unsound mind by a competent court.
- Abused the office, making continuance detrimental to public interest.
- Convicted and sentenced to imprisonment for an offence involving moral turpitude.
- Absents himself/herself from three consecutive meeting of the commission.
