The Governor shall:
- Carry on the administration of the Tuensang district.
- In his/her discretion, arrange for equitable distribution of money from the Centre between Tuensang district and the rest of Nagaland.
- Direct whether any Act of Nagaland Legislature applies to Tuensang district.
- Make Regulations for peace, progress, and good government of the Tuensang district.
- Make the final decision on all matters relating to Tuensang district.
