- Provides income support of Rs. 6000 per year.
- Paid in three equal instalments of Rs. 2000 every four months.
- Fund directly transferred to bank accounts of beneficiaries.
- Family defined as husband, wife, and minor children.
- State/UT Governments identify beneficiary farmer families.
